How did I get here? After high school, I joined Air Force ROTC at UCLA hoping to be a pilot! In Summer 2010, I went to Field training at Maxwell AFB and graduated from there. After returning from Field Training, I contracted with the Air Force on 01 October 2010! I was officially in the Air Force.
The following year, I applied for Pilot Training and got a Pilot Slot early 2011. We will be going to Pilot Training at Laughlin AFB, Texas starting in February 2013.
First, I will be going to IFS (Initial Flight Screening) in Colorado! This is basically the first phase of flight training. After that we will go to our base for UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training) . While in UPT, I will track either Helicopter, Heavy or Fighter. My preference for now is undecided, but we will see how that all turns out.
